Connecting Women and Minorities in Business with the Capital Pathways Program.

Capital Pathways was launching a national campaign that included physical business development workshops in 10 major U.S. cities. The program also includes webinars, satellite programs, and events. Supplied with a slick new brand identity, I was tasked with driving online registration and branding this new organization online & social media. This involved designing video, graphics, templates, social media content, social media outreach and strategy, social scheduling with Hootsuite, Instagram scheduling and more. Regional promotion and targeting was an important emphasis, with the workshops needing to be populated with registrants. Currently, Capital Pathways utilizes satellite entrepreneur programs, a webinar series, networking events, consulting, and more. My work with Capital Pathways is ongoing and I accredit my production team and any planning committees that have been involved for their role.

The Business of Fashion

Art & Streetwear

Krooluhv is an American clothing brand based in Houston, Texas. Krooluhv sells mostly clothes for the modern-American fashion market, and describes its retailing niche as an aspirational “Modern Luxury” lifestyle brand.[9] The company has consistently kept a positive profile in the public eye, due to its advertising, its philanthropy, promotion of self-value, health confidence, and its avoidance of legal conflicts over branding, clothing style and employment practices. The company molds a niche by intentionally avoiding racy ads or the promoting of sexualization within underage children/teens. Krooluhv states a no tolerance policy so as to avoid moral and public controversy as brands of earlier generations have.

My role:

1. Planned, curated, and executed digital/online campaigns with the #1 purpose of registering actual attendees to this free minority business development workshop in each city.
   1. Atlanta, Detroit, Washington, DC, New Orleans, Dallas, St. Louis, Oakland.
2.  Platforms Included: Email campaigns, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. All of these had an end funnel to the Eventbrite Workshop Registration.
3. I executed graphic design needs in Adobe Photoshop and video design needs in Adobe Premiere via Adobe Creative Cloud.
4. Facebook targeted ADs campaigns were used in each city as a part of the online campaigns and targeting to drive registration. The campaigns targeted potential attendees with the intention of having them register online (via Eventbrite) and attend the workshop on the set day and time.

Millennial Entrepreneurs Redefined Business Development Program

Connecting Minority Entrepreneurs with business development resources and funding.

Company Overview:

A free, nationwide workshop series exposing minority-millennial entrepreneurs to strategies for defining and launching their idea, as well as pitching to investors. With live workshops hosted across six cities, in addition to on-going training and development from programmatic partners, participants will learn how to effectively develop, finance, market and grow their entrepreneurial ventures.

Capital Pathways is a free, nationwide workshop series exposing minority entrepreneurs to credit advice, business lending options, and referrals to service providers. With live workshops hosted across ten cities, in addition to on-going training and development from programmatic partners, participants will learn how to effectively fund and expand their entrepreneurial ventures.

Capital Pathways is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency’s Broad Agency Announcement.
